Camp Verde, Arizona
Camp Verde is Arizona's base camp to adventure! Camp Verde is rich in history with the Sinagua -- Ancestral Puebloan people, the Native Americans, the U.S. Calvary, and the settlers all coming together. The stories illustrate the many challenges faced by everyone, the conflicts and the suffering, the trail of tears of the Yavapai & Tonto-Apache, and the growth of Camp Verde through it all.
Camp Verde is Centrally Located and is only 90 miles north from the center of Phoenix and 42 miles south from Flagstaff. You can visit any of the other cities from Camp Verde: 20 miles to Sedona, 26 miles to Jerome, 16 miles to Cottonwood, 5 miles to Lake Montezuma, and 40 miles to Prescott.
